Originally from Paso Robles, California, then to a distinguished career of more than 20 years in the United States Navy. Justin joined the Navy in 2004, shortly finding himself placed into roles that span from Deck Seaman on the USS Dubuque to Tactical Data Link Coordinator on the USS Boxer, Anti-Submarine Tactical Air Controller on the USS Mobile Bay to Navigator of the Hovercraft at Assault Craft Unit FIVE. His expertise also shone ashore as an instructor in Anti-Submarine Tactical Air Control and Hovercraft Navigation.

Justin served with distinction during his naval career, including three deployments to the Persian Gulf, and emerged with a host of accolades that include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation and Achievement Medals. His excellent skills and dedication speak through his leadership as a Senior Chief Operations Specialist, his duty position of Command Navigator, and Department Leading Chief Petty Officer on an Amphibious Assault Ship.

​ Justin will retire in the year 2024 and brings years of rich experience into the civilian sector as he officially joins BD Oxford Financial on California's Central Coast. His new mission is to teach—this time a community—finances and financial wellness, a commitment to service but in a totally new arena. Justin Oxford's journey from the navy to a financial educator says a lot about adaptability, leadership, and long-standing commitment to community service.
